Blah, blah, blogging

I’m not particularly verbose. I’ve been thinking about things to write but not starting them and talking myself out of writing, thinking people won’t be interested or what I write is silly or naive. What do people like to read about? Does a blogger write for themselves or pick a topic others are interested in?
My current project at work is to make a small contribution to locating the thousands of books missing in the library. As I scan the shelves for wayward titles, I come across many interesting and thought-provoking ideas people took time to write down and expand on. One of my personal interests is philosophy. While searching this section, I began to wonder how did these individual personal perspectives become cherished and volumes of philosophy? These people were more astute, giving thoughtful reverence to fundamentals many others would not or could not. The reality is many “thinkers” are persecuted for their ideas. So, I’ll keep writing when I have an observance or remembrance. We’ll see how it goes.
