I finally finished this ocean painting. I was fussy about the clouds, but I’m still not entirely happy. I painted this for the color, not so much for the love of the ocean. I’m more of a lake person. But the panel seemed wat want to be an ocean, so here we are. I’ve spent most of my summers visiting water. Each entity has a particular resonance. But they also are the same. All water is interconnected, flowing into and out of itself, carrying memories as they flow.
